About Susie
I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1995 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. Since then, I’ve lived in London, New York, Singapore, Kenya and Bali, as well as travelling through Asia, Africa and the Middle East — experiences that have given me plenty of inspiration along the way. I’m now back in my hometown of Edinburgh, working on a collection of cityscapes.
I’m naturally curious and love discovering new places, capturing the light, colour, landscape or simply a moment that catches my eye and makes me want to paint it. My paintings range from city scenes and landscapes to seascapes and wildlife. I particularly enjoy working in oils on canvas and soft pastels on paper.
Over the years, my work has been exhibited in galleries internationally and commissioned by private collectors as well as organisations including Starwood Hotels.
